The principle behind Nick’s selection of top companies- trading at a discount price – is that we buy on the fundamentals.
A chart analysis is not necessary. Indeed in some respects the chart will often stop us buying. Nick’s top ten companies are for the longer term. And by longer term we’re talking 15 to 30 years.
If we buy now, and in three years time the price has gone down, we say “awesome” – and buy some more.
However, for those interested in a good chart entry, using weekly bars, here are my thoughts on some of Nick’s contenders, the remainder to be covered next week:
